GARY ANDERSON will defend his US Darts Masters title in Las Vegas in July after being confirmed amongst the eight PDC stars to compete in the tournament. The two-time World Champion took victory at the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort when the PDC's World Series of Darts visited Las Vegas in 2018.
Anderson has been unveiled as one of the eight players who will compete in this year's event on July 4-5, alongside 2017 winner Michael van Gerwen, the reigning World Champion. New UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall will make his World Series of Darts debut after being invited to play in Las Vegas, where he joins reigning Grand Slam of Darts champion Gerwyn Price.
In addition, former Las Vegas finalists Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney, flamboyant Peter Wright and World Championship finalist Michael Smith complete the eight PDC stars. The eight North American competitors, who will face the PDC stars in round one on Thursday July 4, will come from the qualifying events being held on July 2-3 in Las Vegas.
The qualifiers will also take part on July 4 in the North American Championship, which sees the winner progress to play in the William Hill World Darts Championship. Entries for the qualifying events are still available for US and Canadian citizens. For more information, see www.pdc.tv/vegas.
